Incompetent government can no longer stay in power: Pakistan

Maryam Nawaz, vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), said the government of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan had requested for dialogue with the opposition. However, Imran's party did not comment on this.

The Times of India quoted Pakistani media Dawn as saying. In a meeting with the opposition before the National Assembly session on Friday, Miriam said, "You will be surprised to hear how the ruling party has begged us.

He said the government party would submit its resignation letter in due course. An incompetent government can no longer stay in power. At the same time, Maryam has declared 2021 as the election year.

Miriam, meanwhile, said the PML-N would not allow the government to change the accountability law, and that those currently in power would face the National Bureau of Accountability.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers, on the other hand, have ruled out talks with the government on any issue. They also termed the Pakistan People's Party's motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan "indescribable".
