Order of 15 years imprisonment, the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks

On the second day of the new year, Imran Khan's government arrested Zakiur Rahman Lakvi, the top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai case. He was arrested in a case of providing financial support to terrorist activities.

A Pakistani court on Friday sentenced him to 15 years in prison. According to international media sources, the Pakistan-occupied Punjab Anti-Terrorism Department had filed a case against Zakiur Rahman Lakvi for providing financial support to terrorism.

The allegation was that the militants were running health centers with funds raised for terrorism. On the basis of this, the police arrested Lakvi from Lahore on January 2. Just six days later, the court ordered the sentencing of Zakiur Rahman Lakvi, the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, to 15 years in prison.
